PLAR Preparation Workshop on April 19

Canada Academy of Traditional Medicine and Acupuncture(CATMA) offers this special workshop to assists the practitioners with the PLAR process of transferring grandparented registration to general registration.  This workshop is open to all practitioners who registered with CTCMPAO.  It helps the attendees to better understand the PLAR process and become confident for the test through lectures, case analysis and model tests practice.  Instruction will be in English.

Instructor: Yan Lu, R.TCMP, R.Ac. President of the Academy

 

Yan Lu completed her medical degree in TCM with top honor from Beijing University of TCM. She has over 20 years of  practicing and research experience. Yan Lu  understands the standards and competency required for the profession. Her knowledge, experience and skills shared during the workshop will be invaluable and her well structured, step by step teaching will be very informative.

Upon successful completion of this workshop, the attendees will be able
to:

  1. Be familiar with the PLAR process and test format
  2. Be proficiency with case scenarios to make TCM diagnosis
  3. Outline the variety of patterns in TCM diagnosis 
  4. Apply treatment principles and  plans to meet PLAR requirements
  5. Outline acupuncture points in common use for treatment
  6. Outline herbal formula in common use for treatment
